Anakin: His Future in His Past

Okay, yeah, not quite as moving as my last song rewrite, but this is what my muse sent me.
This is a rewrite of "Journey to the Past" from Anastasia. I came up with this last night while freaking out over "Ghosts of Mortis," which came out that night. I write to cope with my emotions, and this song was the result of last night. It's a combination of me calming my nerves and expressing the fact that I relate to and connect with Anakin on many levels. I'm a lot like him... put his personality on a girl, cut the temper in half, and you've got me, attachment issues and all. Yes, Anakin and I BOTH have attachment issues. I'm the first to admit that. I know that he's not perfect, and that's the reason he's relatable to me. Plus, I know what it's like to loose people you care about, to feel that no one appreciates you, and to be in a situation that you have no control over.
The picture I've used here has an interesting story. It's a ROTS studio shot like any other, but it has significance for me. I once checked out a book on the costumes of Star Wars called "Dressing a Galaxy". The pages were the size of a sheet of printer paper. One page had this shot. It was supposed to be a detail of his gauntlet, but something else about it struck me. In all the other shots of Anakin in the book, he seemed to be glaring at you. But in this one... he just seemed so much more human. I held the picture up to a mirror and looked at our reflections, and I saw a lot of physical similarities between myself and him as well. This shot is like looking in a mirror for me, and is the shot that I identify with the connection that I have to this character.
I told you I had attachment issues, didn't I?
